Now I detest Hallowe'en. Probably because it is just an American import now. In the old days in Leeds we didn't do it - we had Mischief Night (the night before guy Fawkes night - bonfire night ) were got up to no good making apple pie beds and playing knock knock ginger (knocking on someone's door and running away).
However I could not let this year pass unnoticed - just on the level of dressing up. Alex is a very effective goth witch and Jacob is Count Dracula.
I on the other hand require no costume as I am scary enough! (See picture). I am hoping my yellowness will scare away all those trick and treaters!
