According to various things I've read (I'm educating myself about my illness) I am indeed 'special' (I always knew I was but it's great to have it confirmed!).
Autoimmune Hepatitis affects 10-17 out of 100, 000 Europeans. That equates to 1 in 10,000 people in the UK.
Blimey!
And still they don't know what causes it. There seems to be little research on it. I assume the MRC can't fund it. Shame.
