Being a inpatient at the Royal Free was not the best experience I've had. It was sooooo dirty! And I wasn't cared for for like I was at the PAH.
I miss the blue skies of Brisbane!
Being at home is lovely - especially bring with the kids who have been fab. All back to normal now - big argument with Alex about her hair! They have both grown up a lot - but then that's what you'd expect. I'm very proud of them!
My bed is lovely! Although I'm not sleeping well. I was suffering from jet lag but don't have that excuse anymore. Ho hum - think of me between 3 and 6am.
I am really enjoying wallowing in the bath! Add Jo Malone bath oil - pure heaven!
I have done some cooking as baking (although it very tiring!) - I'm working my way through the basic Great Britsh Bakeoff book!
I have new glasses - and I can see now (my prescription had changed!)
Andrew is worried that I have developed a serious on line shopping habit! I don't know what he means!!
The docs say I should be feeling very tired. Pottering around the house is what I should be doing - I can just about cope with this level of activity! Anything else just finishes me off!
Monday is outpatient day at the Royal Free. I am very lucky to have my own personal medical student who stands in queues for me. In exchange I take him out for lunch!
I went to Shul on Shabbat - it was a very emotional return (sorry SAMs!) - but I felt very loved :-)
For the first time in my life I have been by the docs to eat more! The funny thing is is that I'm struggling to do this as the drugs have suppressed my appetite. Little and often is my motto. Thank you to my band of soup makers!
That's it for now!
