14th October - exciting day out at outpatients at the Royal Free

Exciting times. Mark (my nephew and personal medical student) are eating our way around lower Hampstead and Belsize Park. Today we sampled the Euphorium bakery. Mark had the bread of the day - plum and crumble loaf!!! Yum. 

Oh yeah the focus is going to the clinic. The bloods queue went quite quickly. 

The clinic was uneventful. My INR is 1.3, bilirubin not is 253

All other liver functions and bloods going in right direction  (although they react slowly when the steroids are reduced - as they were last week).

Apparently I am doing well at managing my blood sugars.

My level of pottering is good. And yes I should feel this tired! 

Next week the consultant is back from his holiday so I will see him. Apparently I am aiming for him to say "come to clinic every two weeks". We'll see........ Fingers crossed.

We persuaded the taxi driver to go home the quickest way home (m1) rather than the sat nav way (shorter but ultimately slower because of the traffic) he reluctantly agree and when we got home he agreed that we were right. A minor victory in my mini campaign! (It's a new campaign because they annoy me when the go up and down the A41and I feel sick if they go that way!)
