News from the Free! (30th December 2014)

So I spent the whole day in the environs of the Royal Free on a horrible wet and windy day.

I finally got to grips with the blood service - it has to say on the bar code that it is processed urgently - and only the doc can change that. Once this is done I don't have to go twice in one week. Amazingly I only had to wait 3 mins in the queue (it's usually about 45 mins ).

After bloods I retreated firstly to costa on Belsize Park and then to the pub (having got soaked)

At the clinic I did see the consultant (who changed my blood code!). My bilirubin is 55! Not quit normal but I'm in that zone (20-80) where my yellowness is not quite as noticeable. My other liver functions are still a bit elevated (nothing compared to what they were). I'm to have an MRI. I next go to the clinic in 6 weeks.

And finally I'm down to 10mg of prednisolone. Getting there ..... Slowly.
